Overview
Inventory Items
Inventory Items (also called Ingredients) are the raw materials used in your recipes. Each ingredient tracks:
Recipes
Recipes link a Product (menu item) to a list of Ingredients with specific quantities. This serves as the Bill of Materials (BOM) for your menu items.
Stock Movements
Stock Movements track all changes to ingredient quantities. You can create manual stock entries with these types:
Units
The Units module defines measurement units for ingredients. Each unit has:
Categories
Inventory Categories allow you to classify ingredients into groups such as "Vegetables", "Meat", "Spices", "Beverages", etc. This makes it easier to organize and find ingredients in the system.
Consumption Report
The Ingredient Consumption Report provides detailed insights into how ingredients are consumed through sales. It analyzes SaleDetails where the product has a linked recipe.
Change Logs
Important: Before upgrading to the new version, please ensure you have backed up both your database and the entire project. Additionally, verify that your project is currently running on the latest stable release. Taking these steps is highly critical to prevent any data loss.
